Breast Reduction

So I had a really good appointment with the surgeon. As the title states, I'm getting a breast reduction & I'm very excited about it!! The surgeon seems very down to earth & knowledgeable. I have a 3-5 month wait for the actual surgery, I was hoping for the fall anyways as the kid's will be back in school & I won't have to worry about it being during vacation, though it would be nice to have had the surgery done yesterday!! The Doctor mentioned taking 5-6 pounds off my chest, which had me shocked, do I actually lug around that much weight? & no wonder my back hurts!! The Doctor mentioned a C/D & I mentioned a C would be nice & I'll mention that again & again on the day of surgery. I'm very excited!! He also mentioned to loose as much weight as I can before the surgery as if I lose it after, my breasts may get smaller. My goal is to hopefully get to goal by the surgery, which is very possible. Then when I lose the 5-6 pounds from my breasts I'll be below goal!! The one thing the surgeon mentioned was liposuction on the sides which is not covered by insurance & the cost is $2100 - $2500. I struggled with the idea on should I get it done but came to the conclusion that I'm not. I've never noticed my sides before until he mentioned it & I don't think having lipo on the sides will make my breasts better. I figure if it's never bothered me before why would it now! This way I'll also save some money. I'm still going to try posting each week about my weight loss for the week & I've started Another 10 lb Challenge. I'm done my contract on Friday so I'll be able to walk/run with my sister again in the mornings which I know will help my weight loss along. Soon I'll have small boobs, I can't even imagine it, it seems unreal...

Well, I'm calling my 10 lb challenge a success as I lost 9.2lbs since I started April 1st. I was short .8lbs and I'm very proud of myself, because it was harder this time & slower going as I basically lost it only by diet alone. I'm not done, as soon as I get to 10 lbs gone I'm going to start another 10 lb challenge until I finally reach goal. I will reach my goal. Tomorrow is my appointment with the surgeon & I'll write another post to let you all know what went on, I may even tell you what I'm hopefully getting done:)!!

2 weeks...

You are probably wondering where the third week went? I didn't lose any weight last week, but I stayed the same, I believe that it had a lot to do with my time of the month and retaining fluids. Anyways week 3 is done... As you can see I lost 1.2 lbs this week which I am very happy about. This weight is coming off slower than the last time, due to the fact that I'm not exercising each day with my sister as I'm so tired from work everyday. I have been walking home from work every day this week though!! So 2 weeks left until I see the surgeon & I still need to lose 2.6lbs which I'm hoping will be gone & then by the time I have surgery I hope to be at my goal!! Now onto a recent craft project that I made this past weekend.

Chalkboard

So what I did was bought a kitchen cupboard door at the Habitat Restore for $5, & then I sanded the inside & did a coat of primer. The primer does not need to be thick, 1 coat is plenty. Then I added 2 coats of chalkboard paint & voila, a beautiful chalkboard for in your kitchen or anywhere!! Best to paint the chalkboard paint outdoors as it is very smelly & to clean it off your HANDS or brush you will need turpentine. I'm going to make some for the girls room soon & I'll post pictures.
